  • TWO UPDATED TMMI PROFESSIONAL SAMPLE PAPERS AVAILABLE

    Both TMMi Professional sample papers (A & B) have been updated. You freely use them while preparing for an official TMMi Professional exam, or just try them to find how much you already know regarding TMMi and maybe take the exam thereafter.

  • New version ISTQB Foundation syllabus released

    At the ISTQB General Assembly in Poland, a new to the ISTQB Foundation syllabus (version 2023) has been released. This new syllabus and also sample questions are now available. It is providing much more content on Agile Testing .

  • Dutch Table Tennis Champion Veterans

    In Schiedam (The Netherlands) Erik won the Dutch table tennis championships for veterans (players 40)+ in both singles and doubles (with Peter van den Sande). In both finals there was a very convincing 3-0 win.

  • PAPER on CMMI V2.0 ASSESSMENTS AND ITS INFLUENCE ON TMMI

    A new white paper has been released on the CMMI V2.0 assessments using MDD and it possible influence on TMMi assessments. The paper was written by Katalin Balla, Jan Jaap Cannegieter and Erik van Veenendaal.

  • Opening keynote at iSQE conference (China)

    Erik will be the opening keynote at the iSQE conference in Jiaozuo (China) talking about Digital Transformation and the impact of Software Product Quality, with an emphasis on what it means for software testing.

  • Erik nominated as honory member of the BTTB

    Erik nominated as an honory member of the Bonaire Table Tennis Associated (BTTB). "For his time, dedication and passion to support BTTB in developing table tennis on Bonaire, and also for being the president for many years, supporting the board."

  • New Version TAMAR (TMMi Asssessment Req’s) released

    A new version of TAMAR (TMMi Assessment Method Application Requirements) has been released (R1.1). This new version shows the compliance of TAMAR with ISO 33002 "Requirements for performing process assessment".

  • Table tennis champion doubles Bonaire

    During the Bonaire table tennis championships, Erik has won the title in mens doubles together with Almar Nicolaas. After already winning together in 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2021, it was their 6th doubles title.

  • Re-elected as a member of the council of the NTTB

    Re-elected as a member of the council of the Dutch Table Tennis Association (NTTB) for the constituency region Eindhoven. Continuing to make a (small) contribution to table tennis in The Netherlands.

  • ISTQB Foundations course on Curaçao

    In June/July Erik will again deliver the accredited course ISTQB Foundations on Curaçao, in cooperation with the Curaçao Testing Qualifications Board (CTQB).  The course is scheduled to take place partly on-line via zoom and partly in-person.

  • Member of the program committee for SEETEST 2023

    Erik is a member of the program committee SEETEST 2023 which will this time be a hybrid conference, to take place on September 19th and 20th in Bucharest (Romania). A highly recommended conference with great tutorials and a quality program!

  • Huge growth rate number of TMMi certified organizations

    Wheras the number of TMMi certified organizations in 2021 showed a growth rate of almost 40% compared to 2020, the growth rate during 2022 has even come to an incredible 62%!!  Congratulations to all involved.

    In January 1998 I founded Improve Quality Services, and for many years thereafter managed the company.  Now 25 years later Improve, being part of the ICT group, is still a leading quality company in the Dutch ICT industry. Congratulations to  management and employees!

  • New TMMi paper published in English and Spanish

    A new TMMi paper has just been published together with Jan Jaap Cannegieter, the paper titled "TMMi, the world standard for test process improvement" has been published in SQS newsflash in both English and Spanish language.

  • New version TMMi Professional syllabus and sample papers

    In line with the new version of the TMMi model (release 1.3), a new version of the TMMi Professional syllabus (version 2.1) is now also released. In addition both sample papers have been updated and are now available.

  • New version TMMi model released

    A new version of the TMMi model is released and available. The new version is alligned with the ISTQB terminologie and CMMI v2.0. In addition the latest development regarding international standards, e.g., ISO 29119, are taken into account.

  • New version ISTQB Glossary available

    A new version of the ISTQB Glossary of Terms used in Software Testing (v3.7) now available and to be downloaded. The ISTQB Glossary is suppporting to the various syllabi, e.g., ISTQB Foundations in Software Testing.

  • On-line TMMi Professional course for Curacao and region

    In Februari Erik will deliver the recognized course TMMi Professional for  Curaçao and its region, in cooperation with the Curaçao Testing Qualifications Board (CTQB).  The course is scheduled to take place on-line via zoom.

  • Paper on how ISTQB and TMMi should work together

    A new paper just been published in SQ Magazine about how ISTQB, TMMi and Test Automation interact and are all needed for test improvement "ISTQB, Test Automation, TMMi or Test Automation, Three pillars for Success: The PPT framework".

  • New version TMMi (lead) assessor criteria released

    A new version of the TMMi Assessor criteria document is available defining the criteria for becoming an accredited TMMi (lead) assessor. The update concerns a relaxation to the timing of experience hours to remain an accredited assessor.
